Waiting for my Love to return to me...

Last night I said good bye to the love of my life.

I won't be able to see him for a year.

Luckly, he'll be home for a little while on the half way mark, but even thats a long ways away. *sigh* I miss him already. We've been throught this before and I don't think I was this upset. Maybe because we're home with our families and I don't want him to miss out. I'm sad that he's gone. He's going to miss so much. I can handle him being gone, we're use to that, but it's still dangerious. Luckly, my hubby has a very smart hear on his shoulders. *pout* The life of an Army Wife.

I just watched a movie that scaried me and shook me to the core. It wasn't about a serial killer, monsters, ghosts or goblins. The movie is called "Home". It's about the one thing that all of us call home...our planet Earth.

This movie will show you on what we humans, homosapien, are doing to our planet. This isn't just a hippie "Let's save the rainforest" type deal. It is telling us that in 7 to 25 years from now...7 TO 25 YEARS FROM NOW!!!!... that there will be NOTHING of our resorces left from the Earth, unless we tend to do something about it NOW!!!!!

While watching TV News, we constantly hear either about countries at war, celebrities bad hair day, or how gas prices are going up. Why arn't we hearing more on how we are destroying the one thing that gave us life in the first place.

We hear here and there that we are trying to make things more efficient. Which is a start, but its not enough.

*not part of the movie* Sir Richard Branson, the creator of Virgin CO., is going to pay $250,000,000 for someone to come up with an idea to create a way to take all the harmful CO2 gases out of our thinning ozone. Now there's an idea to help out our planet, plus get a little cash on the side!

I believe that the reason that we have so many natural disasters, is that the Earth is healing itself. I believe in that line from "The Matrix" from Agent Smith:

"I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You're a plague and we are the cure."

That is what we are now, a virus, but I believe that we can also be the cure.

There is a reason why we are the dominate species.

The movie also tells on how all around the world different countries are trying to correct the things that we humans have done wrong and using other resorces to substain our way of living.

MARY MOTHER OF GOD!!!

I...uh...he...

...

! My husband shocked the hell out of me when we visited my brother last week. I've always wanted a Wacom tablet like FOREVER!!!! Well, the three of us were talking about them and looking at vids off from Youtube. Well the next thing I know he going onto the Wacom site... Then ZIP-BAM-BOOM he orders one!

So know I'm waiting on my brand new Wacom Cintiq 12WX!
